It took me quite a while to sit down and write a review for this book because it was one of those stories that I felt like holding onto for a little bit. You know the kind I’m talking about, the ones that you become so attached to and don’t feel like talking about immediately because you want the story to continue. It wasn’t that this book changed my whole world or anything like that, but it just reminded me about certain things I really … [Read more...] about SEVEN DAYS OF YOU BY CECILIA VINESSE | A BOOK REVIEW
There’s a black girl on the cover of this book!!! The idea that the above statement makes me want to cheer and celebrate, raises so many alarm bells inside my head. Because shouldn’t this be normal by now? Shouldn’t we be at a point in time where we’ve become accustomed to seeing people from all walks of life on book covers? Let me share my June reads with you: WAIT FOR ME … [Read more...] about JUNE WRAP UP | BOOKS READ IN JUNE

And just in case you missed that little spoiler – this is a POSITIVE review, because Oh My Fuzzies, I loved this book!! *Thank you to the awesome people from Pan Macmillan South … [Read more...] about WINDFALL BY JENNIFER E.
